Police-law reporting and current responsibility
Article 36l of Graubünden’s Police Act provides for notification to the cantonal police for ten or more hemp plants.

Older online versions also name other authorities. The applicable law matters, not the first PDF found. Confirm the reporting channel for your activity; medical licences and cantonal notification must not be treated as equivalent.
Which current version and reporting procedure apply to my activity, including alongside a medical authorisation?
Your canton. One Swiss community.

Separate federal law from cantonal questions
The FOPH states that hemp below 1% THC is outside the Narcotics Act. That does not settle building, land, business or product-use questions. A cantonal notification is not a general cultivation licence. Nor does a missing reference here establish that notification is unnecessary.
- What use is permitted for the specific plot or premises?
- Which authorities need to assess the activity or receive notification?
- Which written evidence, manufacturer data and ongoing costs need comparison?
These questions are editorial guidance, not official clearance or a complete application checklist. A binding decision requires assessment of your actual case.
Legal fundamentalsLicensed medical production belongs here too
Our scope goes beyond CBD. Medical cannabis production falls under Swissmedic’s licensing and supervision system. Operating licences, individual cultivation authorisations and activity-specific requirements need assessment separately from local building and environmental procedures. A municipal reply or Club membership does not replace those authorisations.

Cantonal context helps you ask the right questions. It makes no device available or approved for a particular facility. Compare dimensions, safety documentation, service and ongoing costs. These categories provide buying criteria; no products can be ordered yet.

What is my next step in this canton?
Put the specific question above to the relevant authority and compare its reply with your project. The source covers a particular area; it confirms neither your own authorisation nor complete coverage of your case.
Is there a local shop or production facility here?
This is a regional knowledge overview from an online platform. It claims no premises, local producer partnership or available stock in the canton. The grow shop is in preparation.
Does Club membership authorise cultivation?
No. Membership provides community access, not a licence. Each activity remains subject to applicable legal requirements. Registration alone guarantees neither supply nor a price.
